 General Purpose of the Position

Assist the General Manager in the management of the Mediterra Community Association, and ensure all matters involving the members of the association meet the guidelines established in the governing documents and the state statutes. Interface with the Board and established Committees to assist with their administrative needs, meeting coordination, prepare meeting minutes and reports. Assist in the execution of all member related community operations functions, such as Member service, new resident information, and covenant enforcement. Performs accounting and administrative functions. Works closely with management team to meet resident needs and take corrective action to resolve deficiencies. Reports to the General Manager.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·      Assist in the coordination of MCA meetings as required by the governing

     documents, including notice letters, agendas, proxy and ballots.

·        Assist in the enforcement of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions.

·        Works with the General Manager to identify violations, site article and

section of documents involved and work with members to correct

infraction. 

·        Responsible for Design Review process, to include regular communication

with Design Reviewer, record keeping, fee management.

·        Field inquiries and complaints for the association.

·        Work closely and cooperatively with other departments, such as Community

Patrol, Grounds Maintenance, Facility Maintenance/Hardscapes and The

Club to solve problems.

·        Manages the website and all electronic communications to the residents.

·        Updates Associations Member Handbook.

·        Process Title Transfers and estoppels.

·        Maintain Monthly Sales (Closing) Report.

·        Maintain Database in TOPS.

·        Assist with assessment billing and collection programs.

·        Assist in projects as assigned by General Manager.

·        Performs all other duties as requested.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Other Abilities:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills; as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and to prioritize problems and workload.
  • Minimum of three years of property management experience.
  • An Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • A Florida Community Association Managers (CAM) license.
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License.
